During Spring Cleanup Week some residents placed items on the curb, in addition to the typical furniture and appliances, or items were placed on the curb after the collection crew had been through their neighborhood.

All items must be removed from the curb by Monday May 6th, 2019. If they remain on the curb next week, they will be disposed of properly and the current occupant will be assessed and billed for those services.

This will include tree branches. Tree branches, brush of any kind can be disposed of at the City of Mitchell Landfill. The landfill will be open until 4:30 pm today and 8 am to 1 pm on Saturday.

If branches are put curbside AGAIN at a residence that was already picked up this week, that residence will be charged $75 for the curbside pickup (each additional trip)

The compost site will be closed to drop of tree branches at end of day today (Friday May 3rd). All branches must be taken out to the City of Mitchell Landfill.

If you have any questions please contact City of Mitchell Street & Sanitation office at 995-8465.
