[ARCHIVED] New Years Garbage Collection & Special Tree Collection

Due to the observance of New Years Day on Tuesday, January 1 there will be no garbage collection on that day, Tuesday & Wednesdays garbage will be collected on Wednesday, January 2. The City of Mitchell Regional Landfill will be closed on Tuesday.

Due to the observance of New Years Day on Tuesday, January 1^st, 2019 there will be no garbage collection on that day, Tuesday & Wednesdays garbage will be collected on Wednesday, January 2^nd, 2019.

The City of Mitchell Regional Landfill will be closed on Tuesday, January 1^st, 2019.

The City of Mitchell will have a special collection for Christmas trees during the week of January 7^th – 11^th, 2019. Place the trees curbside on the same day of your garbage collection. Again, these will be picked up curbside only.

Christmas trees may also be taken to the compost drop-off site located at 1405 West 8^th Ave which will be open January 7^th – 11^th, 2019. You can bring Christmas trees to this location to drop off from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
