Watch "Quest of the Junk Yard Dragon," a puppet show written & performed by Markie Scholz of Spearfish. Sharn (the heroine) must overcome challenges to find the Junkyard Dragon. Then, and only then, can she regain her place in the kingdom. The puppet show is suitable for all ages. Markie Scholz's performance is funded in part by the South Dakota Arts Council. Scholz has performed in over 40 states and six countries as part of the troupe "Dragons Are Too Seldom." South Dakota Arts Council support is provided with funds from the State of South Dakota, through the Department of Tourism, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
