  3. Read for the Record

October 29, 2020, 10:30 AM - 10:50 AM @ Online - Mitchell Public Library Facebook Page Facebook Live

It's time to Read for the Record! On Thursday, October 29, we will join children from all over the world as we read "Evelyn Del Rey Is Moving Away" on Facebook Live at 10:30am, 12:30pm, and 3:45pm. Following each reading, we invite you to write a comment about the book on the Mitchell Public Library Facebook page. The names of those who comment will be placed in a drawing to receive a free copy of the book. The odds are good... We have 15 copies to give away! Jumpstart's Read for the Record brings together millions of adults and children from around the world to read the same book on the same day in order to raise awareness about the critical importance of early literacy and access to high-quality books. Questions? Please contact Jean Patrick, Children's Services Librarian: 605-995-8480.
