Request For Street Closure - AKG 100 Year Celebration

AKG requests permission to bring heavy equipment to the AKG 100 Year Celebration, which will be held on September 14th at Patton Young Park.  AKG is in the process of confirming the specific equipment that will be on display. At this time, it is requested that the 400 and 500 blocks of south Edgerton St. be closed from 7:00am until 6:00pm with no vehicles parked on either side in order to display this equipment during the celebration. Should the equipment set-up not require both blocks on the day of the event the closure will be modified as necessary.

The next Traffic Commission meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 16th, 2019.  The time will be announced at a later date.

Committee meeting agendas are scheduled based on an estimated time of completion. If a meeting concludes prior to its scheduled time the next committee may start its proceedings early.

The City of Mitchell invites all parties to give oral or written comments. If special accommodations are required, please notify the Public Safety Department at 995-8400 at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting.
