Summer Reading Program begins Monday, May 23

Beginning on May 23, you're invited to come to the Mitchell Public Library to register for the Summer Reading Program. This year's theme is "Oceans of Possibilities." We have programs for all ages & everything is free!

While you're at the library, pick up a reading sticker chart ice cream card so you can earn free books and ice cream. 

Kick-off Events
Wed. June 1 & Sat. June 4

Come the library June 1 & June 4 between 10:00am-noon to pet the goats! They'll be on the grass next to the parking lot. (Thank you, Andi Herbst!) 

At this time, you can also pick up information about the Summer Reading Program and pick up reading charts to earn free books & ice cream!

Art Classes for Kids

This summer, kids may register for art classes at the library. A variety of classes, dates, and times are available. 

Pre-registration is required. Class sizes are limited. Please call the library to register: 605-995-8480.

Classes are free. Children should be accompanied by parent or caregiver.  

Create a 3-D Ocean Scene
